The Twins of Evil Tour featuring Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson was a box office sell out Friday Night at DTE Energy Music Theatre. The October cold night was a perfect setting for this musical journey of two of largest horror performers in history!
The excited fans filled the venue from the front of the stage to the top of the hill, some dressed for the cool weather while others in full costume. Manson and Zombie put on the show of shows that would have made any mother cringe; but the biggest question is will this tour continue to feature Marilyn Manson as a co headliner. Manson apparently was not happy about his set being cut short and near the end of his last song he blamed Zombie for not being able to play more and yelling he was going to kick his ass. As professional as Zombie would have liked to remain he could not help but to respond to this remark after his third song. Rob made it clear that some tours just don’t go together.
Unfortunately Rob is wrong, because in the eyes of the thousands that came to see them it is a perfect duo. To witness two of the most theatrical performers in the business while they live out your favorite nightmare is worth paying to see. Despite most of the fans not knowing really what was going on, Zombie and Manson still did what they do best and that’s entertain! With this being only the 9th stop out of 36, lets just hope they don’t cheat the fans who are still waiting to see the Twins of Evil perform.
