American Rock Bands Never Die

At DTE Energy Music Theater last week, REO Speedwagon, Styx and Ted Nugent rolled into town on their “Midwest Rock-N-Roll Express Tour”.  Styx took the stage like they were 20 years old and gave the thousands that came out a rock
show for the ages.  They played a great selection from their hits catalog like “The Grand Illusion”, “Too Much Time On My Hands”, “Fooling Yourself”, “Come Sail Away” and Miss America to name a few. Tommy Shaw (vocals/guitar) was excited to be back in Michigan where he had lived for a short time and made no reservations to give the crowd a high-energy rock performance. Closing their set with “Renegade” this band is proof American Rock Bands never die!
